Are they all hype?

£1.85 is steep for one doughnut.

But saying that I pay for "posh" coffee from McD so what do I know.

Never tried them personally but I know what a donut tastes like so I guess do I want to find out for £1.85 if it tastes better :)

Happy meal with a coffee instead of a fruit shoot is a good deal + it includes a toy :D

Wow i can get 5 freshly fried donuts for that! Failing that sainsburys in my opinion do the finest jam donuts knowen to mankind. Sadly this knowledge has been gained at the expense of my godly physiec. I still have the body of a god...... just a shame its Buddha

Like most things in life - You get what you pay for.

Sure Sainsburys/tescos/asda doughnuts are nice but these are like a "Ford" type of doughnut - the Krispy Kreme ones are "Mercedes/BMW" type. Yes they are £1.85 each but if you buy a case of 12 in different glazes then you will be a fat whatsit very soon.

For the price try one and see - its your decision after all.
