Does anyone know the easiest/cheapest way to get to the site from Frankfurt Airport?

Any ideas on how long it will take to drive, get on the train or taxi?

Thanks,

Rob :)

you come from the uk? so you take the ryan air? because ryan air take frankfurt hahn airport. that's an old army airbase (but it looks good ;o) and everything is new...)

frankfurt hahn is not directly in frankfurt (you must drive a while for the redlight district - it's 124km away from frankfurt city ;o)

if you come from frankfurt hahn (with ryan air) you drive with a car 1,5 hours to bitburg.

here is a map...

sorry, but i don't know, if there's a bus or a train, but i try to get some informations for you!

German train system is good, and tickets cover more than one person - I'm sure one of the German guys will correct me if I'm wrong, but I seem to remember that tickets often cover four people under one low charge.

yes that's right, but in the moment, the german rail company has a new system. nobody knows how it works ;o)

if you take your booking some weeks before you can save some money, means, it would be cheaper.

just ceck http://www.bahn.de <- german rail for more infos.

there's still this system, that five guys can travel with one travelcard an save some money.

here are some info i get for you:
if you take a train at frankfurt hahn, you can travel with five guys for ca. 45 euro (for five persons) to bitburg.
you drive 3,5 hours with a train.
but first you've to travel a little bit by bus...
