I`ve got a Replay XD1080. Pretty cool! With the R7 Feedneck mount it is perfect for paintball guns.
The XD720 is good also and even smaler than the 1080 version.
Pick up the 720 and you will be happy with it.

Think the GoPro HD3 pics are better at the moment but handling is on Replay´s sinde!

The big problem about the gopro is that the case is quite fragile. Mine got one hit and cracked the case... Used to have it attached to my barrrel.

Maybe i was just unlucky.. but wont use it again on my gun.

The 1080 version is round about £299
and the 720 version £215.
Both with feed neck mount. The 720 version mount is the same as the 1080 one. 720 is using a other plastic adapter/ring mount to cam.
If you`re looking forward to buy one you have different mount options (standard, Planet Eclipse, cyclone feeder, tactical)

i got hero 3 black edition footage if you want a butchers? same quality you can achieve with the gopro hero 2 silver (2nd hand it sounds about right for you imo)
