I have noticed this in the last 2 tounys I have played. I chrono the Lv1 to 280-290 and when I ramp over the chrono (mills mode on marker) it ramps over 300fps while single shots are 280-290. Need to change to 270-280fps to keep ramping under 300fps.

My settings are:

Mills mode ramping.
all settings stock inc dwell.
gi 4* paint with bore matched barrel
solenoid is 7/7 with new duracel ind battery.
No leaks.
Tank output 5-600 psi.
Bolt and rammer freshly oiled.

Hi dfr350

Spoken to the tech and he tells me that its normal to get fluctuations +/- 20fps.

What type of chrono are you using, chrono's these days give you an average when you shoot multiple shots over it.

Also don't use Duracell Industrial, use Duracell Ultra or paintball energy, they have the best alkaline level for Eclipse paintball markers.

Thanks for the quick reply. They where using virtue clock chronos. Thanks I will pick up some ultras soon :)

So is there nothing I can do to limit the fluctuations??

I have the same issue with my LV1... consistent 10-15 fps increase when it ramps... and I know someone having the same issue with their LVR.
Default ramp settings

So I have spoken to Jack and he tell me:

If you increase your LPR and your velocity goes up then your LPR pressure is too low, leave it at the higher pressure and reduce your velocity via your regulator

You can also do the same with your dwell

Also you can reduce your bottle pressure down to 500-600psi the less pressure being pushed through the gun the more stable it will be.
