it's to hold the wires in place, you'll see it if you strip a halo or reloader b

yeh i know why they are there, but couldnt they mould a platic clip onto the feed cup to hold the wires in place.

Thinking on it, if you have most of the weight of your hopper and marker closer to the pivot (your arm) moving the setup would be a lot easier.
