The tourney on the 24th Oct will use the latest incarnation of the scoreboard with a new meltdown feature .
The meltdown feature works like this on previous tourneys when a team hits the buzzer if they get control of it and the other team does not hit their buzzer you will control it for the whole game with the introduction of the new meltdown feature you will only have control for 3 mins and a maximum of 18 points then you have to hit it again .
This i think will make the game more interesting as you will have to keep an eye on the buzzer and rehit it when the timer runs out .
You will be given an audible indication of when the meltdown runs out and stops giving you the points.
The scoreboard is reprogramable and we can change the length of meltdown from 1 min to 15 mins so if the feature does not work out we can revert back to the old system .
Next year the rules will be set in stone so this is the final opportunity to test things out please give feedback as we want to provide a product that is competitive , fun to play , and gives you value for money so feedback is important.
