QEV is not just for rate of fire and it would make a difference on a capped gun!
It increases vent from the noid allowing for a lower dwell not just increasing ROF but effciancy as well. Std ions are capped and the bigest upgrade for it is a QEV.
The reason the shocker doesnt have a qev is because the noid is direct mount to the body therefore you dont have a hose full of air to get rid of.
Both are good guns and the guy was asking for an honest opinion your opinion is very very biased.
I have shot and worked on both markers and for the price the etek is a fantastic gun so is the shocker!
As evryone else on here has said soot them both and see which u like the most.
