Odd Situation

Hello. I have a max flow an 88ci 4500psi tank and reg combo, and just purchased a dye tank cover for the tank. I order the 88ci 4500psi size obviously. When I opend the package containing the tank cover, i could tell by looking at it that it wan't going to fit my tank. My tank is a bit thinner and longer than most nitro tanks i see today. (I did manage to get most of my tank covered, but at the top there is about two inches exposed still.) I'm not sure why. Are there special tank covers for the tank I have? I need some help here. Thanks for looking.

hey, i'm not an expertor any thing but, you could try to go to a near by store and check around for fits, you said you ordered it, so i don't think they'd be any help with that, or, just leave it

It should stretch a bit to fit it. There are 88 short and fat tanks, mine being one, and I order 68 size to fit them. You may have unintentionally been given one under that impression and might have needed to specify 114 length. That's about the only situation I can imagine coming up with that.

From the looks of the cover, i probably have the right size. I did at one point own a 68ci 3000psi tank, and from the looks, the tank cover looked a little too big.
