looking to overbore as getting into tourneys now.
Looking at the techt ifit and dye cf boomstick 15"
the techt ifit will be for walk ons - when I can underbore as non fragile paint.
and so I can use my angel with the boomstick.
the boomstick will be for supair matches.

HOWEVER
what bore size boomstick should I get? .684 .688 .692
would all that be reduced be efficiency? (as bore size increased)

sorry if its worded poorly - having to leave for work in a minute :(

Can you still get Angel threaded Dye barrels?
Doesn't the Angel come with .691, 693 and 695 backs as standard?

Just bore match, most paint is really small nowadays.
Been using a 685 on my Angel for ages

.692, i was shooting some 'pure gold' paint the other week that was a squeeze even through an .693 back. The dispute about underbore and overbore will go on forever, but as far as im concerned less barrel breaks mean better accuracy, so bigger bore. X

angel sb only came with one barrel, unless selected the barrel kit - so i only have one.
and as far as I know I can only find it in a/c thread for dye markers.
also paint match is the worst you can do ;)

thats some large paint coming from todays shrinking standard.
and agree you cant shoot straight when theres things blocking the barrel.
however with the less fragile (lower grade paints) underbore has been proved not to break paint as it was once thought.

They are rare but appear from time to time , look out for an Angel small bore barrel kit.
This will be 3 backs of 685, 687 and 689.

ANS Gear tend to have different makes of smaller bore barrel backs such as Sly.

Shot DXS Gold, Marbz, Pure and Evil using 685/687 with no barrel breaks whatsoever.
In fact I've never had any breaks in my Angel at all!

cheers fella but was looking for cf though to make the front really light ;) - plus i also own a vanguard demon which is a/c thread.
plus with the techt ifit i can underbore when at walk ons and then .692 with the boomstick at .692 for overbore

very rare to get a barrel break

but did use some formula 13 that was 693 a few months back was shocked will not be using that again

why would you overbore playing tourny ?? I used to just chuck on a stock barrel and not worry about it all

some days I get loads of breaks from weather and humidity changing the ball - if you overbore it will compensate for the expansion of the ball during the course of the day.
and cause overbore and underbore are the best ways, bore match is inconsistent, gotta get the best out of your gear matey ;)
that formula 13 huge last time I used that ball it was only just snug on my .685

in the past allways used top quality paint and bore matched with something like marbs
would only overbore with poor quality rec paint ect
