I've added a set of cable ties to the kit bag. The type of thing that's useful for many situations and you don't realise you need until you need it.

The front half of the sole of my boot detached after the first few games on Monday & was flapping about like a thirsty dogs tongue. I used some gaffer tape off the Marshall and taped it up pretty well, but this just disappeared at some point in the next game. If I'd had a cable tie I could have just zipped it up and not had to play the rest of the day trying not to trip over it.

Super glue may also be of use for similar situations.

A more summarised version is:

Something to travel to & from:
Your travel clothes, shoes etc
Gear bag etc
Roll of black bags in the car (to throw the dirty gear, muddy boots etc into afterwards)
(Or even the hundreds of charity bags that get dropped in your letterbox)
Changing mat (something to stand on in the car park when changing into/out of playing clothes, boots etc - even a square of rubber beats balancing on gravel)

Playing
Playing clothes
Good supporting boots or cleats depending on ground type
Spare playing clothes depending on weather
(On a wet day it’s nice to change to dry after lunch)
Goggles
Beanie/hat/headband
Gloves
Microfibre, blue roll
Wet wipes

Shooty stuff
Gun, hopper, air cylinder
Barrel condom
Fluffy

Batteries - with spares - ideally different batch numbers
* Minimal tools (enough to adjust chrono/change batteries
Minimal spares (o rings, lube)

Pods
Pod belt or vest & pouches
Optional ‘ball hauler’ or cereal tubs (keep your balls fresh in the safe zone)

Food / drink
Water
Optional hydration tabs - High5 etc
Snacks
Main meal - optional in normal times if you aren’t into the site lunch, might be essential in Covid times if they cannot provide meals

Money
Cash and card (in Covid sites may try to avoid cash, but if connectivity is bad you need cash)
If at a larger event then make sure your overdraft / credit card have plenty of wiggle room for the shiney things you see at the trade stands

Emergency
First aid plasters
Painkillers
Electrical tape
* More tools - If you will do more maintenance on site
* wider O-rings / spares kit
Manual (and/or PDF copy saved to your ohine

* tools and spares
Older models needed various sizes of hex keys, screwdrivers. Newer models try to keep to a single size for basic adjustment and may be tool less

This is not the place to advertise, but I’ll name one of the above posters below

Once you’ve used a gun stand you will wonder how you coped without them
There are many flavours of them, and many guides online for making them with plastic plumbing piping (or copper pipes), 3D printed, plywood panels etc

@BOD is an established and well known member here, he makes a number of items including a few variations on stand designs. I have his fold up wire stand that can be folded and packed (almost) into a pod

Well recommended

Love these spare macro replies... WHAT YEAR IS IT??

Cool to see so many people rocking all sorts of markers.. yesterday a guy was rolling an autococker on the sup'air *metal*
It doesn't matter what year it is now, good old fashioned 20 year old guns still shoot you,

I do find the obsession with new tech in paintball very strange. As long as it goes bang when you pull the trigger and paint flies out the end, you can play with it...
