0.85 isnt that far off! Besides, the largest segment of the paintball market is made up of rec ballers, weekend warriors paying £60-100 for a box of paint, if a box of paint was to cost less than '£5' to make then.......you do the % profit!

How much does it cost for paint in the U.S.????
I see the same box of paint, cheaper than here why?

Seems the U.K. is the highest price for paint.!!

How much does the site operator pay for a box of paint?. Bet its not £40 a box. We as tourny players use a lot of paint and £40 is the average price we pay.

The paint companys who give "FREE" boxs to a team also gurantee that team uses their paint for the rest of the year.

This year we use Zap, last year we didnt, so Zap has made money from my team.

Mayhem Masters used to be site paint only (RPS) but a) the price was getting well into the rip off levels and b) teams' sponsors were getting VERY unhappy. Imagine - fully sponsored teams having to pay £90 for a box of 2500 of the "wrong" brand of paint.
It got to the stage where suddenly entries were getting less as the complaints got more so they finally opened it up to BYO. That seemed to be near enough the end of site paint only tourneys in the UK.
