Ok, maybe I am just using the wrong words for these products.

But I can't find any on the standard (see banner shops) or ebay/amazon.

Are they gauges/sizers/what?

Cheers

(I dont care if alloy or plastic)

Ball sizer, which won't give much help in searches

Personaly I would say not to bother with the sizer, just as well as popping a ball through a sizer you can hold it up to the inserts. This also gives you the better option of 'blowpipe' testing to pick the best of the two nearest sizes

If you do want one though I have a once used Empire ball sizer
I can search it out and do pictures etc

I agree with tommikka they don't have much use really aside from being handy or a knuckle duster,

If you cn blow it through barrel with a bit of resistance your sorted. If you gotta force a ball into it then its too small, alot easier and more fun

slightly digressing from the topic, but the blowpipe test is actually the worst choice when sizing paint. If you match the bore perfectly so that it has some resistance but blows through, due to slight variances in paint size even within a box, some will roll through and some will catch, resulting in inconsistent velocity. You're better going a size up or down, although underboring has proven to yield better efficiency as an added bonus.
obviously underbore if you're playing pump!
