Painting a a dye rotor help please

a clear powder coat is probably the toughest thing that could be applied over the top?

We use polyeurathane paint for plastics/composites at work as it seems to key to the surface the best.

I have seen on the custom pb facebook page some pics of them using vinyl wrap on rotors and markers. On looking at the comments below it looks like p8ntu does it, so maybe contact them through their site.

i read somewhere on this site about dying the plastic. involves boiling the shell and adding the chosen coulered dye. not sure how well that would work changing a black rotor to white though. i painted my Vlocity and regretted it straight away. i sanded it down lightly, cleaned it with solvent to remove and grease, applied several very thin layers of primer leaving 24 hours between each coat, repeated this with the colour and clear laquer. looked the b****cks when i had finished it, for all of ten minutes when bits flaked off. i used propper plastic primer and paint. from my experience i wouldnt bother painting, its a waste of time an money. good luck
