Is the proto rail/proto rail maXXed worth getting for comps

I would rather go with used high end marker instead (in the same price range ofc). You will find yourself with maxed rail and than you will grab dm or geo on training or something... and you will be like: what was I thinking to buy a rail :/

As Stanga says, you can usually get something a little more high end on the used market, my only caution would be to buy carefully - any older high end gun you can pick up for £250 will be out of warranty, and any repairs it may need can potentially double the cost of that gun in the long run.

You could probably pick up an older but still good condition dm for the same price if not less than than rail maxxed, just make sure you test any used gun before you but it

I picked up my proto maxxed rail ( bran new)
For £100 is that good?

Was not stolen and yes it was new.
The gentleman I got it off he got it part of his
2014 proto sponsored kit.
