We are half way through the NSPL 2010 season with three full events having been played. The Rankings have been updated on http://www.nspl.co.uk and its time to take stock and see how the series is unfolding...

Consistency is the underpinning attribute of a winning team. Its no good having a good event in amongst bad events in the NSPL. Only decent results throughout the whole season will earn your team a top position once the dust has setttled. A quick look at the rankings on the NSPL web site will back this up, showing those teams that are performing consistently sitting at the top the division tables at this half-way point.

London Shockwave are dominating Division One at the moment. Although a play-off win has eluded them at the moment, their consistently high placing in the prelim games is what counts towards the rankings and it is going to take some real determination from the other teams in Division One to knock Shock off of that top spot.

Division Two is a true battle this year. Not only is the level of competition proving to be a real challenge for the teams at each event, but the top places in the rankings are hotly contested between Snatch, Kinetic and Relentless-Khaos. This is a really excited division this season and I can't wait to watch the rest of the year unfold.

The powerhouse GBH teams are dominating Divisions three AND four at this time. But there's still time for them to slip up and they'll need to continuing their excellent performances so far if they are to retain both top spots until the end of Round Six. Kinetic Pulse and Fraternity are hot on their heals in Div Three and a determined Scraesdon Warriors are doing themselves proud in their debut NSPL, sitting in second in Div Four. Also chasing GBH Exile in Div Four are Mindful Violence and Chaotic Rampage. If these guys dig deep, anything could happen over the next three events.

The full Rankings after Round 3 can be found at http://www.nspl.co.uk/rankings.php

Round four is coming up in mid June and will be sure to be an exciting event with so much riding on every crucial point available to teams. The league is returning to its popular Reading-based venue for this fixture and I look forward to welcoming you all back in about a months time. Until then, train hard guys and good luck for the remainder of NSPL 2010.
