Its true...red is faster...why do you think "go faster stripes" are quite often red? And Ferrari did the research..all their cars were yellow, that was ferrari's colour..until they discovered red was faster...

The same color barrel would be for your team mates to see your barrel rolling around a bunker so they dont just shoot and ask questions later.....anything that separates you from the opposition helps you not to get shot by your own team.

Good thinking! In Miami, I got shot out by my own team in my best game, as well as another game on the same field (Drakula). People get antsy when they can't find the opponents (they were walking to the deadbox), and start shooting anything that moves.
