Hi all,

I write this with a little emotion. Looking back, it doesn't seem like 5 minutes since our first official event this season at CPPS, and can't believe this will be the last this season (aside from the 7man - and maybe something else!)......just believe us when we say this is only the beginning. This winter we have more plans in store!

We hope you have all enjoyed the season thus far, and we promise we're going to finish on a high with the Planet Eclipse Open. We'll be releasing more info this next couple of weeks about the event, needless to say this one is going to be special. We want to encourage people to come down on the Saturday, camp (or stay at one of our nearby partner hotels) and enjoy a player's party on the Saturday evening.

Priority will be given to the teams who attended our previous rounds. We will do our best to fit in any teams where we can, but we like to keep things running smoothly and to schedule. Just check the team list below - if you're on there, no need to do anything. If you can't make this round, please let us know ASAP so that it frees up space for those teams looking to get in on the CPPS action.

The prize pool will be courtesy of Eclipse and further details will be announced before the event.

Once again there will be training on the Saturday and will run from 11-5 at a cost of just £10. Air will be provided by HPAC. Teams MUST book in advance for the Saturday training.

We have discount codes for 2 local hotels...please book early to avoid disappointment. Codes can be obtained by emailing ainsley@okpb.co.uk. We STRONGLY advise to book now to get the best rates at the Travelodge at Hilton Park services and the code is the same as it has been all year:

KQ42587G

The Mecure Hotel in Penkridge's code is "OKPB2013" and allows you rooms at £55 a night (twin).

_________

On the Saturday in addition to the training, we're also running our "Breakout Division". As the name suggests, it has a slight twist on the format we now know, and allows teams to break out from a larger area along the back line. The idea being that it is easier for players to make their primary bunkers and enjoy more game time rather than potentially getting shot out on the break.

Markers will be semi only and must be limited to 10bps, and shooting at a reduced 280fps. This will run on the Saturday from 9am until 2pm, with prizes also provided by Empire! Cost is now just £175 and perfect for new teams looking to venture into sup'air! There will also be a free clinic for those teams in the afternoon. The last one was a great success, a very friendly atmosphere with refs assisting the players and laughs all round.

This is for woodland teams, new teams to supair or anyone who wants to give supair a go. It doesn't carry the intimidation factor of our Sunday event and we do all that we can to assist you and guide you through your first steps in tournament paintball.

If you have any questions about the format or need any guidance (or perhaps seeking a team to play with), please just drop me a mail: ainsley@okpb.co.uk

__________

Again, please check the team list below - if you're on the list and don't want to be, please let us know ASAP and certainly before Friday 25th August at 6pm. Any withdrawals after this time will be liable for full entry fees. We don't like to do this, but our scheduling takes a LOT of time and preparation, and we're having to turn some teams away, so please consider this when booking in!

If you have any questions, please email ainsley@okpb.co.uk.

Excited isn't the word Ains!! Me and Chris came back into the scene after a solid 5 years out and have loved every second of it. We've been a little rusty but managed to find our feet again and even fluke some silverware!! Double snake is gonna be all kinds of daftness so who knows what the results are gonna be this time around.

We've said it before and will say it again, you guys have put on a league that has made us super proud to come back and can't wait for next year!!

Let's hope the rain holds back for the weekend though eh.

See y'all there !!
