Due to the competition for match squad places, SAD have decided to expand the Academy team by two or three players taking the squad to 12 to 14 members.
This means that SAD Academy will be able to field an A and a B squad at all future events, this will enable all players to benefit from increased time on the field in competition.
Interested players must be aged between 13 and 19, posses their own kit, and be able to attend monthly training and competitions.
Successful applicants will join a club programme designed to develop the players fundamental skills, and accelerate their development as all round players.
The Academy has the same support and backing as the other teams within SAD Paintball Club. Academy players also benefit from training with the other teams within the club, and participating in private training and coaching sessions run by some of the UK most experienced players.
May 17th we are holding an Open day, where interested players can come along and meet the players, and participate in training drills, and perhaps join in a few games.
