Has anyone got any usefull drills for learning how to control someone in a snake, We seem to run into problems in games when the other team takes the snake so any info would be usefull.

make sure you have a back player that can play tight and live behind his gun and constantly put paint on the snake player at all times.
Best way to do it is have a mid player jump in the snake that will make the other teams snake guy worried about getting mugged and make him shoot the tape to try and take out your mid guy rather than shooting at your guys in field.

Firstly practise zoning out opposition runners going to the snake, if you can keep them out you will find the games much ezer. If there is someone in the snake, make sure as said ^^ that they can control both the snake guy and the opposing back guy.
Again as ^^ get one of your guys into the snake Ninja style and bunker them out.

another thing is not to let the snake guy attract all of your guns cos then they will send someone down on a run through down the opposite tape and shoot u all in the back like fools.
make sure everyone holds their lanes so this doesnt happen this takes a while to master because everyone on the team must trust each other to cover their backs.

yeah if you dont clip him/or her on the break and they somehow manage to get to the snake, get the back player to post on his position whilst a mid attempts some cat like dive, if the mid not an option, push up the tape and keep an eye on him.
Nice 1, cheers for the tips guys. Will just have to stick a firework up our front players ass to make sure we get in there first.
hmm it can be risky making ur front break straight there. some snakes are too far to safely make from the break - it might be worthwhile sending your front to a primary just short of the snake, get him to gun down their front if he tries getting into it, then move in himself?
another thing is to let the rest of the team know that the snake is hot. worst thing a team can do is not talk to each other.if everyone knows it means they will need to play tighter in order not to get shot out by the due/dudette in the snake.
oh and all of the above just mow his ass. he'll soon slip up.

Assess on the field which barricades can control the snake. It'll usually be a back corner and a couple of barricades in field.
choose someone to go into one or more of these barricades and if the call of snake goes up then they concentrate solely on the snake. If there's two then one of them should concentrate whilst the other should split his time between snake and elsewhere.
You dont have to have a player in there but it is a good idea most of the time.
