It depends on whether you are a sniper (1-2 boxes)or Rambo on the loose (five and up), but get ready for an awesome weekend. Just remember to eat and drink sometimes can forget.

Shoreline Paintball are pleased to announce the commercial line up for Staargate 2008.

We are absolutely delighted to team up with Enola Gaye as the official pyrotechnics partner for the event.

Lee Wickham: “Shoreline and Enola Gaye are natural partners. After our past performances, our customers now arrive at Shoreline events expecting big things from our pyro displays, with Enola Gaye as our partners for Staargate then something really special is in the pipeline.”

Jim Rose: “When you team up Europe’s leading pyro manufacturer and an event organiser pushing the boundaries of in-game pyro displays then it’s a very exciting time to be involved in paintball. We’re delighted to be the official pyro partner for the event and are excited to be able to contribute to what promises to be a memorable game.”

Of course, a big game wouldn’t be a big game without the opportunity to wander around a load of trade stalls dribbling over the latest paintball paraphernalia. Satisfying your lust for anything paintball related will be:

BZ Paintball
JCS Sports
We Are Paintball
Warped Paintball
S-Wasp
Underground Armoury
Ammo
RND Mods

As if that wasn’t enough, Tippmann will also be present throughout the weekend providing tech support for anyone who bends their marker. They will also be running free tech classes during the Saturday for those interested in learning how not to bend their marker in the first place! It’s a great opportunity for players to learn more about their own equipment from qualified gunsmiths.

There will also be tech support and a repair service provided by BT. any queries you have about any BT products old or new will be answered.

Tim Barnett: “We’ve got a great range of traders this year from industry leading names that everyone recognises to smaller outfits with highly specialised skills in producing really interesting paintball products. A wide range of traders makes an event more enjoyable for all attendees, therefore we’d encourage everyone to support the traders who have made the effort to attend by purchasing their paint and equipment requirements from those vendors on-site.”

As you’d expect, there will be food outlets on site throughout the weekend with a bar service available during the Saturday nights entertainment. Food and refreshments will be available at both safe areas on Sunday during game time.

Well you will see most of ori's t shirts as we are mainly rec ball players, very few scenario players. Alot of the big scenario players who have replica markers, a million pods, tak(ky) vests you cant see much of their t shirt, however..you will see plenty covered in the colours of ori players paint :)

Just to clarify the T-shirts question: the T's are issued to identify which side each player is on. Therefore they need to be visible. Even under a Tac Vest - it's pretty obvious which colour T-shirt someone is wearing.

The only exception to the rule is for those players who choose to play 'in costume' - these costumes need to be approved by the game organisers (ie Lee or myself) and must leave no ambiguity as to which side or faction the player is on.

So in answer to the question - wearing a jacket over the T-shirt wouldn't be cool.
