RE knee pads I would look and see if you can try some on to see what size you need otherwise you could end up buying some and then having to resell them.

As said, best best, best advice is sort out a decent, comfy, pair of goggles before anything else.

As for hooking up with a team, CPPS is the place to be for tournament arena ball

The 7man Woodland Masters is the place to be for tournament woodsball. I would get your self to which one you fancy, and soak in a bit of paintball. Ask traders, players etc all the questions you have.

In fact, I bet if you made a thread on here a week before an event, asking who is going down, you'll get chatting with loads of people.
