Ps it is called speedball here, depending on who you speak to they may just call it tournament, speedball, sup air, etc
Cheers I was confused because before I moved back to the UK I always knew it as Speedball. I guess your right depends who you speak to they might call it a different name

Yeah the terms are all very much synonymous. Speedball I would say covers all forms of paintball that has small numbers (5-10) per team on a even playing field e.g. supair or hyperball. larger woods, urban or close quarter fields are forms of scenario paintball.

I think Supair is an abbreviation of Super Air ball. I seem to remember the inflatable game being called that, when it first became popular in the UK in the late 1990's?

Sup'air is also a particular brand of bunkers (think the biggest in the world?) - but it does seem to be a bit genericised like how "Hoover" is synonymous with vacuum cleaners.

As I understand it, Sup'air is a brand name of a french bunker manufacturer. If pronounced in a french accent it sounds like super (sue'pair).
