Air is a lot better for markers cos its only gas, whereas Co2 can be liquid when it enters your gun and wear out o-rings and lock up your marker. Also air is cleaner, when they fill Co2 tanks dirt, and dust etc get trapped in the liquid and when you put it through your marker your hoses and marker internals can get blocked.
