The CPPS 2012 dates and info thread

Ok guys we have 2 spaces in the race to 4 division, and we may have a space in the conference subject to application....we may leave it as a 9 team bracket.

Teams have until tuesday night to book in, all teams on list now are subject to our booking terms and conditions.

Team section lists/groups will be postedf thursday night.

Were really looking forward to the weekend now, especially with a great weekend of training on saturday with our european guests and co and the event shaping up with 65 teams its looking epic.

Hi Rich,

Just wanted to let you know that Samurai MV is very much looking forward in coming up to the CPPS this weekend – unluckily we will not be able to make it Saturday for training since we will be arriving after 5 p.m. this time around, but we will be there for Sunday all day and hope to catch you sometime before the event.

CPPS confirmed team list.

Below are the confirmed teams, if you are not on this list you are not confirmed. We are pretty much at maximum capacity so we now are only taking reserve list bookings. Sorry for this we totally underestimated attendance for 2012 and with the reduction to 4 fields we cannot fill anymore spots. All spots that were tbc are now open as the time limit set for confirmation has passed.

What we do ask now is all captains to email rich@ballsoutpromotions.com with there Captain or point of contacts name, address and contact details so we can update our database. If you are confirmed you have acknowledged and acepted our terms and conditions for payment, event rules.

A few Notes and points/FAQ's.

We would like to remind all teams to review the Millennium/EPBF rulebook as those are the rules we will run for all CPPS series events. Ignorance of the rules is not a valid defense when constructing an argument or debate over any on or off field decisions.

All teams on the team list are confirmed and locked in and so have agreed in principal to our terms and conditions.

Only paint supplied by the approved vendors at CPPS events may be used on the sunday tournament. Or supplied by an official paint sponsor of the CPPS that does not have a vendor there or a direct deal with the team may be used at our discretion but only by prior wriiten agreement.

Roster locks are for each event. A player can only play for one team in anyone session be it morning or afternoon.
We will also be releasing a tiered grading sytem for players.
All players that register for a Race 2 Prem A, *Race 4* team wil be listed as Tier 1 player.
All players that register for a Race 2 Prem B, or Championship team will be listed as Tier 2.
All players that register for a Conference team are listed as Tier 3.

What this means.
Any tier 3 team can have a maximum of one tier 1, or one Tier 2 player playing in any match at any event that is registered.
Any Tier 2 team can have one tier 1 player play for them at any event.
Any tier 1 team can have tier 2 or 3 players playing for them.
However once a player registered for a team of one tier has played 2 events at a level above will automatically classed as that level and so the above comes into play.
Eg. If a tier 3 player plays first event with that team then the next two at tier 2 level then they are then classed as a tier 2 player.

This may seem anal or complex but its actually designed to stop sandbagging or any issues with teams of larger squads that may be tempted to insert players for key games.

We are prepared to be flexible if we can in extreme cases as you cannot always predict every situation, these situations must be addresed with us prior to the start of the session or match. Failure to do so will incur a penalty or disqualification of result.

Sorry to sound all draconian but we just want to make sure everyone is aware of the main points and make sure everyone enjoys the events but knows where they stand.
