There's a piece about the death of Ken Costin from team Redz after a tournament at Elsham.

Although I'm sure others have been aware of this for some time, it's the first I've heard of it.
It seems unfortunate that the only recorded paintball related death happens right here under our noses.

Also, it puts into perspective the efforts by Bully and others to lower the Max FPS for the STB tournament.

I'd like to offer condolences to Team Redz and anyone who knew him.

I read it in the SUN.

The Bedford inquest heard the paint pellet itself caused no injury. But his reaction to it- combined with his history of migraine- could have led to his death. Neurologist John Xeureb said: "the surprise may have been similar to whiplash." Verdict: misadventure.

This is more than unfortunate, I feel more research is needed into paintball impacts, could it cause blood clots for example?
