Basicly all the front sections of the barrels (long bits) will screw into the backs (short bit) but you will need to get the correct thread for your marker.
You dont sound like an idiot, better to ask first to make sure

Although all my barrel backs are sold, if you put a wanted thread up asking for one im sure you will get one quite easy.
