URGENT HELP NEEDED!!!

I recieved a brand new board from Tippmann for my phenom and I connected it all up with a BRAND NEW battery and it won't even turn on, literally no LED blinks at all. However when I put the plus side of the battery onto the plus of the battery snap and then connect the battery on the correct way, I get a red led flash. Sounds weird really...
DONT WANT TO HAVE TO WAIT ANOTHER 2 WEEKS TO SEND IT BACK

i havent had mine apart in a while but can the battery lead be turned round on the board?



ignore that it took a few more reads to understand that haha. so you put the battery on backwards for a second then put it the correct way and it gives a solid red light or just a flash then off?

Yeah that's right, but managed to fix it. I was quite bemused as to why a new board wouldn't work so I contacted them and they told me if there was a magnet on the underside of the selector switch, and there wasn't. So I grabbed the spare switch I had with a magnet in and all problems solved!! The magnet seems to connect the circuit...
