It's my understanding that the valves and hammers of spyders and piranhas are interchangable. In fact I'm almost positive, but confirmation of this would be kinda cool.

Nevermind... I found a FAQ at PMI that answered my own question. Or at least half of it. Valves are interchangable, doesn't say anything about the hammers.
I looked at the FAQ after you brought it up. It says that the hammer/striker o-rings won't work, so I would guess they are different sizes.
