Speaking of which, my spire suddenly stopped loading today at DW, looked inside and a twig about 3" long had gone through my speed feed and jammed the loader!

Lol bad times! Only thing I've found are the older speed feed (not crown) are terrible so much so I gave it away today...

That might be the 1 I'm using, although it is called a crown, but its the older type with thin fingers, not the new spring type.

not sure but was useless, aballs and paint just wouldnt go through the fins. ended up with most of it on the floor. will be investing in the newer spring one me thinks, just a shame they cost so much

A Team mate got a spire and side it eats battery's and it's hard to tell when your running low on paint

Change the batteries after 10k shots and you will have no problems.

The led is red when paint is low, and you can hear it anyway.

I'm on 14k shots and mine is working fine, I am using energiser lithium's though so that will make a difference.

good to know people are using other loaders rather then all using rotors

I do like the rotor but after watching this video - i think there is a overwhelming vote from me towards the spire.

Other than the wider feed mouth, I'm not really getting anything from that video that would make me choose a Spire over a Rotor - in fact the conclusion seemed to be that the Spire was good, but a bit fussy compared to the Rotor?
