Did shoot the rainbow not start the year before?
I have hazy memories of setting up a marquee in some fields behind a sports center. That was the first tourney Blakey and co setup off their own bat (before that we marshalled the four seasons).
EDIT from memory it was a charity event but it wasnt in wales.
I only ask because its possible I could have dreamt the whole thing...

They did a leg of the Midlands Masters at Marchbrook in Februrary, then held Shoot The Rainbow II there in September. The first STR was somewhere else. After this it became the Welsh Open, but still was for charity.
And the best auction was when me and Cowboy did it. Or when I auctioned my Box of Muck 'n' Tat for £46, whihc is good considering it was full of, well, tat.
