Most of you will be aware that the PSP World Cup featured not the just the Race-to X-ball format, but also 10-man and 5-man UWL formats.

It's a stab at getting players who are not interested in the X-ball format back into the game. After all, paintball is supposed to be all-inclusive, isn't it?

Of course, it's also another revenue stream.

But....what if, next year, someone in the UK ran a tournament series that catered for these formats?

Imagine a race-to X-ball field, with a 7 or 10-man field next to it, and a 5-man woods field next to that.

Woods caters for people who don't fancy supair, and the 7/10-man field has a couple more of the big back bunkers than the x-ball field, but is laid out the same way.

Would it have people queuing up to play, or what?

If there was a woods series again I would play it without hesitation, haven't run up/down that big hill in Kidderminster in a long time. Also the same if there was a regular 10 man.

Good to mix it up and get the broad baller base inspired again!

I'd like to see the same crowd sort this as those who run the CPPS. By ballers, for ballers.

It's all looking pretty positive!!

i suppose the problem is the cost of sustaining a setup with such variety over a longer period of time. different with a one off event like world cup but to try and have a site that had plenty of woodsball space as well as several fields set up to cater for race, 7man and 10man events would probably never see a good return on it.
