To make my (ours) Ego 09 less harsh on paint. It'll barrel break at least once in a pod. Its not the paint as Geo's on the team were shooting it perfect with no issues, and the week before my Ego 08 was shooting it with no issues either. But the 3 brand new ego's on the team were barrel breaking fairly consistently

I've been told to drop my Dwell to 9 and LPR to 1/2 turns in, but have read contradictory statements saying a higher dwell makes them more gentle on paint.

Egos have probably shot about 2 cases, and I know that isn't enough to break them in, but surely this cant be right.

(I'm not one to play with settings but I have to try something )

cheers

I've personally tried with two loaders (a stock VL JNR, and a stock torque loader) with the same outcome and the two other Ego's were running reloader's on setting 1. Their are no imperfections inside the barrel bore.

The only single thing I haven't tried is a fresh battery in the Ego (although its brand new out the case with a Energy paintball battery showing full on the screen).
