What was millenium membership all about last year?

I mean really...

I only played campaign last year (which is unusual for me), paid a membership fee, didnt get my card till the end of the event, and no one asked to see it anyway.

The point was what, exactly? Surely not just another way to extract pennies from paintballers, right?

The theory was that the ID cards were to prevent players moving around from team to team in an uncontrolled manner - mainly to prevent Novice or Am teams from fielding Pro players. However, the logistics of making it all work properly didn't appear to have been all sorted for this year - hopefully it should work better next year.

If they made a mistake, no refunds or anything?

No, thought not...
Our team asked to have the cards anyway, even though the season was over because we felt this was the right thing of them to do... or if that wasn´t possible, free cards for next seasons millennium.
We got the cards in the end... atleast we got what we payed for!

I would say it´s a bit up to you to get anything at this point...
