If your trying to stay in one place for longer time in game. Try camouflage netting, for me it works perfect. Specially in summer time when there is alot green colour :)

new to paint ball had some experience of camo in real world as has been said before camo is more than a dpm or mtp. and having been to a walk on i know only one but people do not seem to stay still enough for camo to work. paint ball games are to fast and furious to make camo work.

Having said that i have MTP i where but that is because cost me nothing and cleans up easy. By the amount of times I get hit it does not camouflage me.

Most people use DPM just mainly because of the ease of getting gear through surplus. To my eyes though multicam works really well in British woodland.

Hi

At the moment I use my friend's old red PE jersey and trousers so I stand out pretty well haha. I'd prefer some green/brown camo.

I usually wear a mixture of plain black and British DPM Camo, when it's wet, muddy and dark, it's perfect! Only because as said above, DPM is the norm in all surplus shops in the UK, you'd have to go to a specialist website for other camos.
Not so good on a light dry day though

Any camouflage is only going to work if used correctly. You need to use the correct backdrop, shade and a natural barrier to break up your outline. Someone in jeans and a hoodie using the correct princibles is going to be harder to spot than a cammo clad nutter laying in the middle of the floor in the sun!

Darker colours, shade and lack of movement are the way ahead but not moving in paintball just sounds dull, wear luminous orange and charge!!!!!

Back in the good ol days it was all about Rhodesian camo, however I used butter mere camo made by Steve Bulls undercover company. That was a very effective camo for mixed woodland.

Wish I still had it for 'retro' value now
