Wrong lubercant

It hasn't got to be "Official" paintball lube, but if your not sure its a safe bet.

The problem with most oils (i.e. 3 in 1, WD40 etc.) is that they are petroleum based and eat rubber, i.e. o rings. Anything silicon based is fine.

You'd be miles ahead to just buy yourself some just-for-paintball lube so you don't ever have to worry about screwing up your marker (and if anything goes wrong, the marker manufacturer can't tell you it's not under warranty because you used improper lube). ACI sells a bottle that should last you about a year for like 5 bucks, it's worth it for the peace of mind.
