xsv ego6 help

hi there all, i just got me an ego6 xsv and was ripping it today and then all of a sudden the trigger fell apart! then i noticed a pin sticking out of the frame just above the trigger, so i put it back in and was as right as rain for about another 200 shots but fell out again, is this a fixable problem or just a really annoying desighn fault? i dont wann lose this pin playing. any ideas please?

Undo grip frame, take care with the wires. Then line up trigger and put the pin through. There will be a screw above the pin which requires a small allen key. Tighten that and the pin will stay in place.

Just to be on the safe side, I'd bring it in to planet and we will fix it for you!!

little dab of loctite 242 or equivalent on the set screw will prevent it working loose in the future too...

thanks dudes, sorted now, seems as though a few people had this problem as i got about 6 people asking me if it was ok after doing what you said, so its helped a few peeps

Alternatively, lucky paintball in the states make a 2 piece pin. The 2 halfs screw into each other and can easily be undone when needed without all the bashing and risk to your frame.

You dont have to bash Ego pins as Planet had a good idea...but yeah, on DM's Proto's etc, the Lucky ones are mint.
