i thought you had both these bottle???

the 5k is bigger and heavier, im an ego user myself mate but i wouldnt like to risk it with the 3000 psi, plus you will go through mor burst disks through overfilling.....

sell both get a 4500 ;)

We may have crossed lines here.
No they are exactly the same size it's only the reg that is different.
What are you risking with a 3k?
How can I overfill when most sites are restricted to 3k,not used a burst disc yet..

so are we on about 3k and 5k gauges?????
i wouldnt like to risk running out of air with a 3k bottle
and yeah i know most places only do 3000psi but there is still more change of overfilling if you go to a site with 4500 fills ;)

Totally agree, even when you have been playing for years and in the know how, theres always a chance it could happen, as the fill nipples are the same.

Thanks for the heads up,I'm not a newbie, appreciate it happens but usually when inexperienced players are scared to ask for help.
The bottle are both fibre wrapped 1.1L's one has a 3,000 black reg,the other a 5,ooo red reg.
The 5k one is perhaps 1" longer but I'm sure that's to do with the make rather than anything else..

oh not i get you, i would flog thr 3k one then so you know exactly how much air is in the bottle, as the 3k reg you will be able to fill it past where it says its full...

what i just said made sense to me :) been a long day though

Pic 1. pic 2..
So the benefits of the 5k over thje 3k is that if I get the oppourtunity I can fill to 4.5k which I undertood;but filling them both to 3k will produce the same amount of shots due to the capacity being the same,yes...
Seany how much paint to you use per game??
I get a V'locity hopper and 4 pots and still have some air left, not sure how much, never run out though..cheers for the help all...:D

ive always used a 3000 with my 05 and and had no issues with air shooting a hopper and 4-5 pods when needed only time it gets irritating is playing xball and having to fill between every round

Also consider, that the 3k has a born date of June 2003 which makes it 5 years old and probably well out of test (or does it have a test sticker on it).

Also, rather than looking at what pressure the reg's take, look at the bottles to see what pressure they can take, could differ from the reg.
