Hi all,
Ok, I'm looking at entering one of the entry levels of the Millenium London leg, either 5 man or open div 2 So on top of

Travel
Food
Hotels
Paint
Entry

Is there any other costs a team need to account for if they haven't been to a millennium before ?
Would we need to be member of UKPBF ?

Thanks

OD2 entry fee : 2014 OD2 Entry Fees: €750 + Vat per event or €2600 + Vat for all 4 events if committing to the full season

ID cards:
Player Card - €50
Player Card (Pre Registered Online) - €40
Pit Card - €20

Each player is going to need a player card, and anyone in the pits is going to need at the least a pit card (players can be pit crew for their own team/other teams with their player card). You can have 7 players and 3 pit crew in the pits at anyone time, anyone else will be asked to leave by the refs.

Paint... I think in OD2 you get 5 pre-lim games (which you are guaranteed unless teams no-show), after that it's knockout. However much you tend to shoot budget that for getting to the finals. And don't play Mills if you're going to skimp on cheap paint, shoot the best quality paint that works in your guns when you get there. If you're going to throw down all the cash to play a Mills event, don't skimp £4 on a box of paint, it's going to make little difference to your budget but might be the difference in whether your matches go your way.

Food... there is an ASDA 5 minute drive from the site, and loads of restraunts on the leisure site with the hotels that a lot of players stay on (bas vegas!). Food on-site at the Mills is expensive, nothing to stop you taking your own.

Hotels... there is loads within a very short drive of the site, and camping either on-site on within a very short walk. All budgets catered for!

You do not have to be a member of the UKPSF.

Thanks Thorpe !
I'm a big advocate of going for the best paint you can, like you say 4 or 5 quid a box is worth those extra eliminations !
We played div 3 at Cpps last year and finished mid table, we're playing div 2 this year, with some better players and training more regular, would you say there's a big jump in terms of skill ?

The thing with the open divisions is that anyone can turn up. Only 11 of the 82 teams that played that division last year played all four events. A few Brit teams played that div as a one-off at Campaign last year and did very well. Lethal Bizzle won it and Fearless finished 4th, both played Div1 at CPPS last year so take from that what you will. Best bet is to get as much practice as possible.
