First off apologies if there is a thread on this already but if there is, I cant find it:cool:

Looking for some anno work to be done and now that Sloth is no more I am forced to look elsewhere. A friend of mine mentioned a place in birmingham that did all the old Angel anno on things like the rastas etc. Does anyone know a: The name of the company b: have any contact details if there still in business & c: any experience or knowledge of there workmanship and pricing etc?

Failing that can anyone point me in the direction of any UK based custom anno specialists and maybe lazer engraving (but not essential on the lazer work)?

Any help appreciated before I am forced to look over the pond for the work to be done

to be quite honest, i wouldnt waste my time trying to look for any services over here in the UK because they either dont exist or dont specifically cater for paintball. With regard to anno, there has been mention of people sending off markers and having them returned with the anno being far too thick to make the marker functional again.

Slothball were the only guys who did decent anno and laser work. It was a shame that they had to cease operations.

There's plenty of choice State-side - Raza, Kohn, Lasermygun.com, Gruntball etc.

I personally went with lasermygun.com (http://www.p8ntballer-forums.com/vb/showthread.php?142738-1of1-customized-amp-lasered-SLG-UL-looks-like-an-NT&highlight=); the Raza and Kohn prices are far too expensive for what they advertise and their designs dont really appeal to me. Dont forget to factor in custom fees on the return journey too! All the more reason why i went with lasermygun.com - Ask for Eric.

The company I am on about DO or....DID!?! cater specifically for paintball guns, thats why I posted up ;) My mate had a barrell tip done and all was groovy but it was two years ago.
Being as they where the company that did all the anno work for Angel gats I thought someone on here may know a bit more about them:cool:

Ref. going stateside....i'm well upto speed on the pros and cons over going down that path including import tax etc, hence why I would like to get it done in u.k if poss. If not then I will definatley be going stateside, $$$$$$$$$$ or not ;)

before jaime moved in with dye he used to send them out for anno.

at the end of the day if you agree with them the tolerances and they mess it up you should be able to get it redone for nothing

if you agree with them the tolerances
Now theres a question......what sort of tolerance would be acceptable when anodising? 1mm....2mm??
Personally I would not have a clue. I would presume that it would only potentially affect barrel threads & bore sizes maybe??

Obviously an experienced paintball marker anno company would have the answers but should a man be brave enough to go it alone.....where would you start lol?

Answers on a postcard........... (after name of said company has been found please;):D)

I made enquiry's with these guys, asking if they can do it, i sent them the EGO manual, with all parts listed and also a list of the bits i want done and this is what i got back.

Yes this is something we can do blue gold green red pink black silver there is a lot of other colours but these we do as standard, I do not recommend multiple colours as this

Can get very expensive, unless it is separate items,

it should not make any difference to you bore sizes

Adrian
Price wise, its £125 per colour and as far as i know its as many items in that colour as you wish.

but how much they know about markers is any one's guess.

and this is their email
