I think somethings wrong with my on/off valve...

when i unscrew the on/off valve to put it on, Co2 comes out of the side the knob bit is on, this is when it is screwed into the marker (Spyder Xtra). The O-ring is ok, and the marker still fires, but gas leaks out so i cant leave it on.

Is this a commen problem and if so, is there anyway to fix it?

Take it to a good airsmith.. Planet are good but there might well be someone closer to you,

It sounds like te seal on the on off valve may need replacing

thanks, i got it sorted though, i opened the valve right up and closed it a few time so i think it may have been grit or something

Its weird, it doesnt leak when its completely on, or when its completely off just when im opening/closing it

Ahh well, it'll get sorted eventually

When that happerns, it means you have to change the spindle o ring.

Thay can re seal, but really you should change it.
