hey guys, im building a rig and my PSU only has one SATA connector and i have a SATA HDD and a SATA CD drive.. im stuck on what to do,

Buy a better PSU.


Getting a cheap PSU is the biggest mistake most people make when making a computer.
It will bite you on the ass with unreliability, instability and possibly even damage some of your other components.

A no brand will simply not do.

Antec or Enermax are the only ones I buy.
A good PSU will always have more than enough of the appropriate connectors.

i got to admit the PSU was cheap but im on a budget lol and i still need to get ram, John you got a spare 600w or there abouts knocking about ?

Buy stuff from www.overclockers.co.uk great guys, can easily pick up a decent psu for around £50 anything more than 500-600W with a single GPU is just overkill.

I built my i7 rig from there, although I regret this because I hardly use any of the power it has.
