Watch this thread as going to be some very very intersting news about the woodland events in Newcastle area. There is already the 3 main events see www.ionman.co.uk. Lets just say if you play woods you'll love the news that is coming up ! News is due for release around end first week December.

how many man team is this? and are equipment hire available if i want to bring some mates

You can hire gear for the event £15 for Ion and ammo pack and masks

£30 gets you Ion hire battle pack and A proto EL and pair of gloves to take home.

If being released early December.

Normal punter hire kit is £10

Also teams are 5 man events

Oh yes I just heard the news about the Ionman events for next year !! Going to be some serious stuff happening up here in Newcastle !! I'll be able to tellall you wood ball players in a few days time !! If you love wood ball you'll love this !!

if your trying to get players into the woods, BYO might be a better idea if your charging that much for paint, my 2p

Trying to get people into the woods and that much for paint ? you having a laugh ? The entrance fee is next to nothing the paint fee is cheap. There will be at least 5 arenas being played at the same time (marshals need paid) There is prizes for every event and a cash prize at the end of it.

Come on mate the costs need covered some how.

btw, how can a team of 5 be £200 (main site) if its £20 a head? Or does the thread need upgrading?
