JT Proteous, can they be dyed?

Mine usually only take 30-40 mins, topping the water up every 5-10 mins, but I use black mostly.
Since your not boiling over a stove it won't harm you to keep them in longer, especially with it being a lighter colour.
If the water goes cold the dye won't penetrate the plastic, so make sure you keep as hot as possible with the kettle

One thing I would change is.... I forgot to remove the JT stickers. But I'll just write to the nice guys at JT and ask for a couple more... They have sent them to me before :D

I did the strap too, but its gone too dark as I forgot it in the bottom of the bucket :eek:

May buy a red frame and different strap now :-/

You could always experiment and do your own design?
Are they gel filled stickers or just plain?
A jt psycho strap would go well with the colours I think. I'm after a red frame for mine but don't fancy paying the odds for a new one when I don't need it, have 5 and a half flexes at home lol
