Well, first off I'll say welcome to the sport
Keep doing what you're doing (buying gear slowly) and don't worry that you only have one friend who goes with you, I only had 2 when I first started playing, but if you talk to other players at events or walkons, you can get to know more people and maybe join a team later on if you want.

I just had my new pod harness delivered.
Now waiting for my fancy dress costume to arrive for October DW

And i never been on Pb Halloween. Anyone have last years pics?
This year are Zombies vs Humans? So its only zombie costumes or anything?
