I used to have an ion and it was awsome. Ask anyone at Wolf City Union, they use them and seem fine with them playing at a high level.

As for breaking, i bet the people that told you this did not have a clue about looking after a gun, yes they may not break as easily as a ego or a DM but they are still awesome, just people are led to believe that there crap because of what others say...they are just sheep.
