Swapping tank regs???

Providing they aren't thread locked then it'll be fine, if they are it is recommended by some manufacturers to have the threads checked before installation of the new reg
Regs are ment to be fitted to a certain torque settings and you can damage the tread, i wouldnt suggest doing it if you havnt before. Just take it to someone who knows how, and can do it safely for you.
As Jack said some are thread locked on.
Remember to have both bottle completely empty before you try to remove any parts !
Using a rubber strap wrench and some elbow grease you can get the two apart.
If there was any thread lock in the threads clean it out and give the bottle a couple of taps to get any out that has fallen into the bottle.
Most regs will have an O-ring on the bottle threads. If that is perished change it out.
Swap over the regs. Make sure you do not cross thread the bottle putting the new one on !
If you are not happy to do this yourself get a shop to do it for you. If you damage the threads have it checked out by H-Pac.
