Taking reg off bottle

Heading out to Istanbul on Thursday and I've found out that my reg is locktighted onto my air bottle. Is there anyway to get it off a bit easier rather than using lots and lots of force? (because I dont have much )
Any help would be much appreciated

the water way im doing- do you put the whole reg in a bowl of water and what water tap or water from a boiled kettle?

Lol yes wanted to see if you was replying to thread. Anyway i see in other thread that you say on the neck of the reg. So does that mean put the whole reg into the boiling water up to the neck?

I always run the hot water on the neck of the bottle straight from the hot tap.
But it should really be taken to the manufacturer for removal if possible.
