Before they seemed to have taken down the site, I saw THIER version of= the news piece. The reporter said "The hunters get a special prize if they hit the ladies, but the organiser wouldn't tell me what it was."

And on the site, $10,000 got you a hunt, 4 days 3 nights hotel, and you got to "Stuff your kill (Not for virgins, you figure it out)", if I remember the text right. And that WAS on the web site

Thanks 4 the link:)..If you go to the Bambi option all the girls are escorts so I guess the women on TV didnt want to make it worse by adding prostitution to the list:rolleyes:

Just wait...

Just wait until the girls find out that their "normal" prostitution customers don't like girls with big bleeding welts and sores all over their body. (Or an eyepatch)

Getting Up Again
This thing was on oreilly (factor) on fox news this evening.

Burdick explained that his game evolved out of doing a spoof video about hunting (poking fun at hunters, naked women instead of deer was the implication) and that when they advertised the video, they got calls from both men (wanting to hunt) and women (wanting to be hunted).

He had one of his 'deer' on the show with him, who said that she enjoyed doing it and it was good money; she declined to discuss what else she does for a living.

They had a women's rights spokesperson on who attacked, said they were disgustiing, the women were being taken advantage of (the 'deer' objected to this statement and was told basically that she was too stupid to realize when she was being taken advantage of), she said "Mr. Bur...DICK" several times (nice emphasis there, she did a good job with that one) was breaking several laws and that if she were the prosecutor in the state she would be having his patrons arrested for assault with a deadly weapon, assault with intent to do harm, arrest the women for aiding and abetting assault and Burdick for conspiracy to commit assault (nice list of charges) - none of which I believe apply at the current time.

Burdick didn't really defend himself other than to say they weren't doing anything illegal and if they wanted to arrest him - go ahead.

So far the coverage here on cable has seemed to be sensational - focusing on the 'naked women' or 'investigatory' - how can they do this? - but not of it has dealt with paintball - other than to say that a paintball company (brass eagle) has issued a press release condemning the activity.

There's the synopsis for ya; I don't think paintball is going to take any real heat from this, other than non-players asking you if you hunt naked women...

If the 'deer' are now wearing goggles, then I think its a non-issue for paintball.

I was wondering

Is $ 1000 to 2000 $ enough to buy new SilliconBreasts ??
in case one of them got hit by some Paintballs and bursts
after all
it seems those women need those Implanted Bags of Saltwater more to make money
then their possible beautifull eyes
and they're blind already, by $$$

>>P.S. I hate that this **** got several mintues news coverage and paintball tourneys are still fighting to get a mention on TV. Shows you a little bit about how screwed up the public is...<<

And as far as the US & the Media goes :

The reference of possible agressive outbursts which might lead to guys hunting neighbourhoods for urbanbambi's says it all ;
install fear :(

Michael Moore's Bowling for Columbine was so right :(

if there was no money to be made
this would have never been aired
and it would just have been some obscure happening in the middle of the desert
So thanx to the newsstation this became bigger then PB life

Nice synopsis there Steve. I enjoyed that part where Bill asked the girl what she does for a "living" and she says she won't discuss her "private life." When Bill mentioned he asked about her "Professional Life", she said it's the same thing. Heheh :p

Mr. Bur-DICK was on MSNBC as well (Scarborough Country) and BurDick came off like a fool, hell, he stated that Las Vegas was the Paintball capital of the US,.....really? That's news to me.
It was good to see Scarborough mention that the Paintball industry is totally against this.

Since the story broke and BurDick made the rounds, his story on face protection has gone from "their not allowed anything but tennis shoes" to " eye protection is optional" and finally at 10:00pm EST he was last quoted as saying " the women wear Goggles".

So there you have it, either he buckled to pressure from the PB community, or some other source. I'd like to believe it was our letter writing campaign that got the ball rolling.

Update, I guess I was right.

Note: A lot of the complaints Eyewitness News and Burdick received were from paint ball players who were upset that the women being hunted do not wear protective gear. Burdick says he's decided to make one concession. The women being hunted will now wear protective eyewear.
