Yes As long as you keep your gun and hopper with you, you won#'t be eliminated for leaving stuff behind.. You can only leave Pots, squeegies etc behind, not packs, guns, hoppers...

I remember someone posting a vid where a guy did that in a tourney (too lazy to hunt it down) but the commentators said that it didn't count as the paint has to be fired from a marker. It was excellent to watch though

im pretty sure in the millenium rules it states that the paint must be fired from the barrel of a marker and break on someone to eliminate them.
