wierd ASA / reg issue

Got a slight problem which someone might be aware of, I've got a 1.1 PMI ally bottle with an HP reg on it (bought from new)

when I screw it into one of my ASA's and turn the air on I get a leak from the ASA (one is worse than the other). In closer inspection I noticed that both the ASA's have small bleed holes, one near the front and the other nearer the back and air is leaking out the rear hole.

One asa is a dye the other is a planet one, any ideas on what the problem is?

Sounds like your bottle oring needs replacing, the one at the top around the neck where it screws in.

That's what seals the bottle into the ASA.

i think Beakers got this one, change the bottle o-ring.

The size is 015/90

Ta, I'll have a look see. so much so buying new, this bottle's hardly been used.

I think it has one of the white coloured o-rings at present, can I replace with one of a different material?

I would stick with the white ones if you can, and get a few as they do fail. A little smear of gun grease on the o ring is a good idea.
